4-year-old killed in late night Shreveport shooting


Shreveport Police are still investigating the fatal overnight shooting of a four-year-old boy. 

Shreveport Police responded to a call of shots fired at an apartment complex on the 1900 block of Patzman St. just before midnight Thursday. There were reportedly more shots fired on Pierre Ave.

Overnight, a woman went to the Shreveport Police Station with a child who had been shot. She told police she was driving when shots were fired and a child was shot in the head.

The child died from his or her injuries.

Police say this is still an open investigation and they have not yet found the exact scene of the shooting. The vehicle has several bullet holes and is being investigation at the police station, according to police. As of now, no suspects have been named and no arrests have been made.
