Five earthquakes have been recorded in Arkansas over the past 24 hours between Searcy and Batesville.
Information from earthquaketrack.com shows the most recent quake measured a 1.7 and was centered about 15 miles east of Heber Springs. It was recorded at 1:52 a.m. Friday.
Just one minute before, a 2.0 earthquake was reported about 14 miles north of Searcy.
Shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday, a 2.2 magnitude tremor shook an area about 9 miles from Judsonia.
The fourth most recent quake measured a 2.3 and was centered about 12 miles south of Batesville. It was recorded shortly before 9 p.m. Thursday.
The fifth earthquake in 24 hours in Arkansas measured 1.7 in magnitude and was recorded at 6 p.m. Thursday just over 13 miles northwest of Bald Knob.
