An Arkansas man learns how much time he will spend behind bars for videos showing the rape of young girls.
Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge announced Wednesday that 28-year-old Jason Coppock, of Mayflower, was sentenced to 15 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction on child pornography charges.
Mayflower pleaded guilty to five counts of distributing, possessing, viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child. He was found in possession of videos and images of sexual intercourse and penetration with girls as young as 5- years-old to 12-years-old.
Coppock was arrested in April 2017 by the Attorney General’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit when special agents seized laptops and external storage devices from his home.
Attorney General Rutledge said, “I am committed to removing disturbing criminals like Coppock from our neighborhoods. His actions prolong the vicious victimization of innocent children.”
