Shreveport Police Property Crimes Investigators arrested a woman they believe responsible for a home burglary that took place in south Shreveport back in June.

Krystal Davis, 30, of the 400 block of John Wesley Boulevard in Bossier, was taken into custody today by the Bossier Police, and later transferred to the Caddo Correctional Center.

Just before 3 p.m. on June 20, Shreveport Police Patrol Officers responded to reports of a home burglary in the 1100 block of Waters Edge Circle. Officers learned that the suspect forcibly entered the back door of the residence and removed an empty safe from within the home.

Investigators with the Property Crimes Division began an investigation into the matter. Through information gathered from the victim they developed Davis, 30, as the suspect.

On July 17, 2017, Investigators procured a warrant for Davis charging her with one count of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling and set her bond at $50,000.

After Davis was taken into custody on the warrant, investigators were able to locate the safe and return it to the victim.
