Early voter turnout is surging across the country, including here in Bowie County, Texas.

Officials say this year’s turnout is nearly double the amount in 2014. And about 80 percent of the numbers they saw for the presidential election in 2016.

Officials think the key race contributing to these numbers is the Senate race. Early voting ends November second.

“We will do some weekend voting which will be very helpful for anyone driving a bus or going to school,”George Stegall, Elections Administrator.

Election day is November sixth. Below is a link to polling places in Bowie County.
