The train that carried former President George H.W. Bush to his final resting place, made a stop in Natchitoches Parish on Monday.

The trained stopped in Natchitoches for a short while.

Bush 4141 carried the President from Houston, Texas, to the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library in College Station, Texas, where he was buried. 

The Union Pacific No. 4141 George Bush Locomotive was unveiled in Oct. 2005, during a ceremony near the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum. It is custom painted and incorporates the colors of the Air Force One from Bush’s Presidency.
