Cafeteria worker in Arkansas accused of stealing over $27,000 from school

A cafeteria worker for the Camden Fairview School district has been arrested.

Rebecca Naomi Dorris of Camden is accused of stealing over $27,000 from the school district.

Dorris works the register in the school’s cafeteria.

According to arrest reports, she had not turned in cash that is collected from students for breakfast and lunch.

Reports say that this has happened on a daily basis for over 5 years resulting in the loss of approximately $27,541.70

Dorris is being held in the Ouachita County Jail pending a First Judicial Hearing.
