Canines sent off for the better

Some dogs are headed to Kansas City, MO for a new start to life.

“To be able to get these animals out is such a blessing,” said Tanya Parker with Paws 4 Life. “They would be otherwise euthanised. We have got to get the message out to spa neuter their pets and stop these pets from coming in.”

In the ArkLaTex, there is not enough food and water for overcrowding shelters. THe dogs are heading for a new start up north where new shelters are being built.

“We have one of the highest euthanasian rates in Texas,” said Danielle Bray, from a Marshall animal shelter. “We’re trying to campaign for the shelter, but the dog can’t wait that long. So, we try to get as many out as we can right now.”
