Reports of damage are coming in from several locations in Northwest Louisiana after a line of strong to severe thunderstorms rolled through around midday Saturday.

In Springhill, police say a possible tornado swept through the middle of town late Saturday morning, leaving damaged buildings and trees down throughout the area. A funnel was captured on camera by Kyle O’Glee as it touched down on S. Main St. and tore through the strip mall.

Around 11 a.m., Caddo Parish deputies and first responders were called to Mira, La. where residents say a tornado touched down on Mira Mertis Road.

Deputies spent the late morning going from house to house checking for residents.

The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office says there are reports of damage in the northern parts of the parish, including structural damage and downed trees and power lines just northeast of the Plain Dealing area.

At Highway 157 and Red Land Road, deputies have located several barns and sheds and a house that have been destroyed. A nearby residence has minor damage, but no injuries are reported at this time.

NBC6/FOX33 has crews on the scene and will be bringing details as they become available.
