Early voting begins underway in Louisiana

Early voting begins today in Louisiana for the November 6 election.

Residents will have until October 30 to vote early.

You can cast your vote at the parish Registrar of Voters Office or another designated location. You can click here to find your early voting location. 

You will need your ID to vote. Residents can also use LA Wallet, the new smartphone app by the Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles, as identification. 

Top races include Shreveport Mayor, DeSoto Parish Sheriff, and 4th Congressional District. Louisiana voters will also decide on several constitutional amendments. Click here for a guide to those amendments.
