Emergency agencies prepare for Gordon

Emergency agencies in Northwest Louisiana are on standby to help anyone affected by Tropical Storm Gordon.

The Red Cross sent off supplies Tuesday to Monroe.

They also have 16 volunteers on standby for any city or state which may be impacted by Gordon.

Life Share Blood Center is asking donors to give more blood.

They say during hurricane season, blood is a necessity.

The American Red Cross also urges people to have an emergency plan in place.
