Firecracker 5K Race for Research Draws Large Crowd

The annual Firecracker 5K Race for Research drew a large crowd of runners to the ArkLaTex for its annual Independence Day celebration.  

Over 3500 runners competed for $2,000 in prize money.  The race kicked off in the St. Vincent Mall Parking lot through the historic South Highland neighborhood.  

The annual event was sponsored by Spine Institute of Louisiana.
