Local firefighters take to the streets to ‘Fill the Boot’ for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. They are collecting money at the intersection of Robinson Road and New Boston Road.
Donations help fund research, support groups and send local kids to summer camp. MD affects more than 700 families in the ArkLaTex. Their goal is to raise over $25,000.
“All it takes is a little bit from everybody and it all adds up,”Craig Hicks, TTFD.
They will be accepting donations through next Saturday.
