Flooding concerns prompts Edwards state of emergency declaration

Local News

Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards has issued a State of Emergency Declaration due to concerns about high river levels across the state caused by increased rain within the last few weeks.

There are currently eight parishes included in this declaration, including Bossier and Caddo.

A check of the levels along the Red River show the water levels falling.
