Former AR Youth Services employees arrested for financial fraud, property theft

Two former South Arkansas Youth Services employees are accused of financial fraud and property theft.

On June 14, 2017 a report was made with the Magnolia Police Department of possible financial fraud and property theft with the victim being South Arkansas Youth Services.

An investigation was initiated which found evidence of financial abuse, as well as some property missing from the Agency.

The investigation has identified multiple suspects.

Aric Shane Knight, 36 of Magnolia has been arrested on a warrant for Theft of Property by Fraud valued at more than $25,000.

Aric’s bond was set at $50,000.

Jennifer Knight, 36 of Magnolia, was also arrested for Theft of Property by Fraud valued at more than $25,000.

Jennifer has since been released on a $10,000 bond.

The investigation in to this case is continuing.
