Brittany Johnson, the vocational nurse at the time of Morgan Angerbauer’s death, has pleaded guilty to negligent homicide.
Johnson was sentenced to six-months in jail, with three months suspended.
Morgan Angerbauer died in the Bi-State Jail in July 2016.
A lawyer for Morgan Angerbauer’s estate has filed a federal lawsuit against Johnson, LaSalle Corrections and owners and administrators of LaSalle.
