You will soon have a chance to get your outstanding warrants recalled and avoid going to jail.
The Shreveport City Marshal Office will hold its 10th annual Amnesty Day between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, March 10 between at the Shreveport City Courthouse.
Anyone who has outstanding warrants through Shreveport City Court can have their warrants recalled and a new court date scheduled without fear of being arrested or extra fees.
In addition, anyone with delinquent fines can get a new payment schedule.
Marshal Caldwell, Jr. encourages anyone who thinks that they may have an outstanding warrant or delinquent fines to take advantage of this opportunity. You must come in person with your ID in order to reschedule a court date.
