It’s a Christmas tradition here in the Arklatex as a local venue is transformed into a whimsical winter wonderland.
Each year the American Rose Center becomes “Christmas in Roseland.” The celebration features dozens of lighted displays, more than a million twinkling lights, and tonight visitors can even take home a pet.
“We’re right here in Shreveport you don’t have to go to Marshall, you don’t have to go down to Nacogdoches. They’re great, but you can come here for the whole family,” said Lucy Medvec, Director of Development.
The event runs through the 23rd and it’s five dollars per person or 20 dollars per vehicle.
