Go-Fund-Me Account started for family of driver gunned down while delivering pizza

SHREVEPORT, La. - Friends and family of the pizza delivery driver who died from multiple gunshot wounds while delivering pizza Saturday have started a Go-Fund-Me account to help with expenses.

Lester McGee was killed delivering pizza on the 700 block W. 68th St. in Shreveport.

An employee of Domino’s Pizza, McGee was shot numerous times, ultimately crashing his vehicle into a nearby home.

McGee leaves behind three children, who, according to the Go-Fund-Me page, “he worked tirelessly to provide for.” McGee, the page says, was known as the “quiet” & “cool” one to his friends and the two brothers, one sister and nieces and nephews he left behind.

According to the page, McGee will be buried this Saturday in Shreveport and his family needs help.

The suspects are still at large, but Shreveport Police are actively investigating the homicide. Anyone who has any information is asked to call Caddo/Shreveport Crime Stoppers at (318) 673-7373.
