Governor John Bel Edwards makes a visit to Shreveport.
He’s talking with representatives from all 50 states about the importance of investing in cybersecurity at the National Governor’s Association Cybersecurity Summit.
The governor also held a panel discussion with local educators on the importance of cybersecurity and what Louisiana is doing to combat future problems.
“We got a lot of really good things going on here in Louisiana. It’s something that we are prioritizing but again, We know we have a lot to learn and that’s why sitting down with these other states and their representatives, we’re learning an awful lot from them today as well,” said Edwards.
Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchison also spoke at the summit.
