The Grambling State University football team unveiled new football uniforms Wednesday night.
The G-Men will have four jersey options – black, gold, red and white. The Tigers shed the grey Russell jerseys and have brought back the red uniforms.
“If you want to wear the red, you’ve got to know what the red stands for,” Fobbs said. “The red stands for the blood and also stands for the tongue of the tiger. All of us have the same blood.”
The Tigers will conclude the fall camp with Media Day on Aug. 18 and continue their preparation for Saturday, Sept. 1 when Grambling State visits Lafayette, La. to take on Louisiana.
After a trip to Cajun Field, the Tigers visit Northwestern State on Sept. 8, before having the first of two open weeks on Sept. 15. After the open week, the Tigers will have their 2018 home opener on Sept. 22 against Alabama State at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium.
