Grocery chain recalls sauté pans due to laceration hazard

A major grocery chain is recalling certain sauté pans because the glass lid could shatter and cut you.

H-E-B has received eight reports of the glass lid cracking or shattering, including one report of an eye injury.

You should immediately stop using the recalled sauté pans with a glass lid and return them to H‑E‑B for a full refund.

The pans were sold at H‑E‑B stores in Texas and online at www.heb.com from May 2018 through Jan. 2019 for about $30.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the pans were manufactured by YongChuang Industry & Trade Co. Ltd. in China and the recall number is 19-080.
