Husband of non-profit founder arrested

The husband of the woman charged with 88 counts of Monetary Instrument Abuse last week has been arrested, according to Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington.

Jimmie Hills, 50, was taken into custody today and charged with racketeering and 11 counts of felony theft.

Hills’ wife, Brenda Hills, is in Bossier Maximum Security in Plain Dealing, following her August 31 arrest. On Tuesday, Bossier detectives added racketeering and 11 counts of felony theft to her charges, bringing her bond up to more than a half-million dollars.

Brenda Hill is the founder of Women of Diversity Ministries and has a lengthy history of financial fraud.
