IHOP restaurants from coast to coast will enjoy pancakes Tuesday for IHOP Free Pancake Day – Flip it Forward for Kids by giving away FREE pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (with select locations participating until 10 p.m.)

The goal is to raise $4 million for charity partners Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

In January IHOP introduced this year’s Kid Chef Team, made up of Brody Simoncini, 6, Nellie Mainor, 8, and Coleman Giles, 15.

All three Kid Chef finalists were invited to the IHOP test kitchen to cook their pancake recipes for special guest judges IHOP President Darren Rebelez, last year’s Kid Chef Champion Starla Chapman, and country music superstar Jana Kramer.

Last month IHOP unveiled its 2019 Kid Chef Champion, Brody Simoncini.

Brody won the title with his OREO® Oh My Goodness pancake creation which will be available in IHOP restaurants through April 14.

$1 from every stack sold will benefit the IHOP Free Pancake Day charity partners.

Born with a rare abdominal wall defect, Brody underwent multiple, lifesaving surgeries over the course of five years, including open heart surgery and an induced coma.

For the first few years of his life, he was on a feeding tube and required therapy to learn to eat on his own.

OREO cookies were the first solid food that Brody was able to enjoy with his family.
