The man accused of killing a Shreveport couple appeared in court Thursday morning.
Dewayne Willie Watkins is charged with two counts of second degree murder in the deaths of Kelly and Heather Jose in November.
Police found their bodies burning inside a car on Penick Street.
This morning, Watkins told the judge that he has not hired an attorney yet, but still plans to do so.
Watkins is due to be arraigned in February.
He remains inside Caddo Correctional Center with bond set at $1 million.
