The Bowie County Fire Marshal’s Office says it has finished its investigation regarding the electrocution death of a New Boston child last month.

The parents of 10 year old Greenlee Buckley said she was reaching behind the family’s dryer to get her kittens when she received a fatal shock.

Bowie County officials said Wednesday they, along with New Boston Police, are referring their findings to the Bowie County Grand Jury in the next week or so.

Officials said the grand jury will determine whether to indict property owner Todd Loe, of Loe’s Rental LLC, on a charge of criminally negligent homicide in the case.
