Jury deliberations will resume Friday morning in the wrongful death lawsuit for the family of a woman who was stabbed to death in a Marshall, Texas hotel in 2013.
Kari Dunn’s family is seeking nearly $60 million in damages from the owners of the hotel.
Kari’s 9-year-old daughter tried calling 911 from the hotel room, but couldn’t connect.
The family’s attorney also argues the hotel staff was not equipped to handle an emergency situation.
This story will be updated once a verdict is rendered.
