Students at Legacy Elementary School had a roaring good time at the annual Bear Tracks fundraiser.
It’s the one time of year students and parents team up to raise money for the school.
Friday morning each grade ran around the track. Students also participated in cheer events, face painting and jumped on inflatables.
The money raised from this year’s Bear Tracks will go toward technology for the school.
Principal Kimmie Smith says nearly 250 Chromebooks will be purchased for the students which brings the total number of Chromebooks to 540.
Smith said Legacy Bear Tracks raised $100,000 for 2017.
After the event was over students and faculty took to the field to dance.
