(KARK) A Little Rock man, already a registered sex offender, is behind bars after investigators say they found child porn in his Bible.

Police records show Clark Gray, 48, was booked Thursday into the Pulaski County Jail on child pornography charges.

Investigators say a domestic call, led to them searching Gray’s home at 1516 Charles Bussey Avenue.

According to a police report, investigators found several pornographic photos of ‘prepubescent girls’ in a Bible at Gray’s home. After a search of Gray’s bedroom, police say they found several electronic devices with child pornography on them.

Court records show Gray is a level four sex offender, after being found guilty of sexual assault nearly 18 years ago.

Last year was found guilty of failing to register and disclose his address.

Many neighbors say it’s unsettling knowing this happened so close to their homes.

“It’s a disturbing thing to hear,” said Bill Lindsey who lives across the street. “Here in the Bible Belt that’s unbelievable. I wouldn’t wish it on anybody else’s neighborhood.”

Gray pled not guilty Friday to six counts of possessing child pornography.
