SHREVEPORT,La - A local business is helping students with special needs.
Creed Contracting hosted its first charity golf tournament benefiting the ARC Caddo Bossier Goldman School and Child Development Center.
The golf tournament raised more than $10,000 for the school.
Lashanda Davis, Director Children Services for the Goldman School says,"it's so wonderful, so wonderful I can't even explain right about now that for them do this for our program, for the agency, words can't express how important it is for us."
The owners of Creed Contracting say the tournament honored their father Michael J. Penn who passed away in 2012 from cancer.
