A local business is calling on locals to help victims of Hurricane Michael.

In Florida thousands of people are without power and it could take weeks before the lights come back on.  The  storm destroyed homes and businesses.  Florida’s Governor Rick Scott has already requested federal disaster relief funding.

Donations can be dropped of at John McKee Pre-owned at 2961 East Texas in Bossier City and John McKee Chevrolet at 5136 U.S. 79 in Homer.

They’re asking for you to bring water, food, clothing and Walmart gift cards.  They will not be accepting monetary donations.  Everything will be delivered to Florida by the Cajun Navy 2016.
