Louisiana State Police detectives are asking for the public’s assistance locating two suspects operating a stolen vehicle in Shreveport.

On Monday, June 18, 2018, just after 4:00 a.m., two unknown suspects failed to stop for a Trooper who attempted to make a stop for a traffic violation.  After a brief pursuit, the suspects crashed the stolen vehicle near Anna Street and Missouri Street and fled on foot.  Further investigation revealed the truck, a 2013 Toyota Tundra pick-up was stolen just a few hours earlier from the Dixie Garden area of Shreveport.

The attached photographs were taken just minutes before the pursuit from a security camera located at a local business near the scene.  The occupants of a black Chevrolet pick-up seen in the photographs were communicating with the occupants of the Toyota pick-up.  The passenger of the Chevrolet is considered a person of interest as well.

The two subjects in the stolen Toyota are described as follows:

Driver – Black/male, 18-21 years old, approximately 5’10” – 6’0” tall, medium build, weighing approximately 160-170 lbs.

Passenger – Black/male, 16-18 years old, approximately 5’8” tall, medium build, weighing approximately 140-150 lbs., with dreadlocked hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Michael Wilkerson with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations by phone at 318.741.2726.
