LSU students arrested for hazing

Local News

Nine Louisiana State University students have been arrested, accused of hazing less than two years after an LSU student died as a result.

Investigators say the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity brothers ages 19 to 23 are accused of beating pledges with a metal pipe, burning them with cigarettes, pouring gasoline on them and forcing them to lie on broken glass while being urinated on.

The national organization shut down LSU’s chapter last month. LSU said the hazing happened last Fall and does not belong on campus.
