A man is behind bars after he was accused of trying to rape a 91-year-old.
According to the Catahoula Parish Sheriff’s Office, they began investigating a reported attempted rape that happened in Jonesville on March 2.
During their investigation, detectives arrested 79-year-old John A. Woods of Jonesville and found the victim to be a 91-year-old.
Woods was booked into the Catahoula Parish Jail for attempted simple rape.
Woods’ bond was set at $75,000.
