Man injured in hit-and-run, driver fled the scene

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A man is recovering after being hit by an SUV late Monday night in Shreveport.

The hit-and-run happened shortly after 10 p.m. in the 3900 block of Hearne Ave.  

According to Shreveport Police Cpl. Marcus Hines a man was struck by someone driving a gold and grayish colored Hyundai SUV.

The driver left the scene and the SUV was last spotted in the 2600 block of Claiborne Ave.  

The man was not seriously injured and was taken to Ochsner LSU Health for treatment.
