Solid police work by Miller County Sheriff’s deputies led to the arrest of married couple who allegedly stole more than $3,000 worth of items from an elderly disabled victim.
James Glen Lafayette, 42, and Camela D. Lafayette are in the Miller County Jail, charged with Residential Burglary, after an extensive investigation by the MCSO.
The burglary investigation began in July, after it was reported by the 82-year-old victim. Investigators worked diligently for long hours and gathered enough information to subsequently obtain warrants for the Lafayettes’ arrest.
In addition, investigators were able to recover some of the stolen property.
