Member of Little Rock Nine shares inspiring story


The Rotaract Club at Bossier Parish Community College hosted a special guest who shared her powerful story.

Elizabeth Eckford of the Little Rock Nine was in town Tuesday.  The Little Rock Nine is the first group of African American students to ever attend Little Rock High School in Arkansas in 1957.

She shared her message of anti-bullying to high schools students from Caddo and Bossier schools.

Eckford also spoke at the Rotary Club of Shreveport’s weekly luncheon.
