A Monroe man is behind bars after allegedly exposing himself to a cab driver.

Police say 30-year-old Gregory Aston was picked up Saturday by the victim cab driver when she observed him pleasuring himself in the backseat of her taxi.

She says asked Aston to stop but he refused. According to police, Aston paid his fare upon arrival at the Circle K store  in the 1100 block of Jonesboro Road in Monroe.

It was there Monroe police confronted him. Aston told police he was only scratching himself on the outside of his pants, but admitted  he drank alcohol before calling the cab.

Aston was charged with obscenity and booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center where he is being held on a $3,000 bond.
