Charges against a man accused in the May death of a 38-year-old Shreveport man have been dismissed, after a Caddo Parish grand jury refused to indict him.
Hermon Woods, 50, was accused in the shooting death of Joshua Paul LaCombe, who was found dead on May 3, 2018, outside an abandoned house in downtown Shreveport.
At the time, police believed may have preceded the shooting, and witnesses described a man fitting Woods description running from the scene.
His charges were dismissed July 19.
