Natchitoches remembers slain family members

A vigil held on Thursday evening honored the lives of two slain Natchitoches men.

“The violence needs to stop,” said Shanita Grayson. “We need to come together as a family, we need to come together as one…. together as a community.”

More than 200 people gathered at the corner of Amulet Street and North Street to honor the memories of Rodney “6ull” Richards and Cordarious “Tootie” Smith.
