Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for a Natchitoches man wanted on several criminal charges that ultimately led to a kidnapping.
A warrant has been sworn out for the arrest of JaDarrius Deon Wilson, 24, of of the 200 block of Michelle Drive, Natchitoches, La Natchitoches, who is suspected in the Nov. 1 kidnapping of a Natchitoches woman.
Around 9:45 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, NPSO patrol division deputies responded to reports of a disturbance in the 200 block of Michelle Drive in Payne Sub-Division near Natchitoches, La.
When they arrived on the scene, deputies learned a female had been taken against her will from the residence by a former acquaintance identified as Wilson.
Wilson left the residence with his victim, reportedly driving in black 2004 GMC Yukon.A BOLO (Be on the Lookout) Message immediately was issued on the vehicle to local law enforcement agencies and officers.
Detectives assigned to the NPSO Criminal Investigations Division responded to assist at the scene.
A few minutes after 11 p.m., a NPSO detective observed the suspect’s vehicle on Louisiana Highway 5 East, in the Grand Ecore area.
The detective attempted to stop the vehicle, but Wilson instead lead deputies on merry chase on the north Natchitoches Bypass then onto Brezealle Springs Road, traveling through several streets in the City of Natchitoches before crashing into a vehicle at the intersection of Theophille and Dixie Streets.
Wilson then jumped out of the vehicle and fled on foot, and though he managed to elude deputies, other deputies were able to rescue the kidnapping victim unharmed.
Unfortunately NPSO deputies and Natchitoches Police searched the area but were unable to locate Wilson.
Detectives continued the investigation interviewing the victim and witnesses. As the investigation progressed, detectives obtained sufficient evidence and probable cause to obtain criminal warrants for Wilson signed by a 10th Judicial District Court Judge.
Wilson is 6-feet 1-inch tall, weighs 165 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and multiple tattoos on his arms.
The warrant charges Wilson with Simple Kidnapping; two counts of Violation of a Protective Order; Simple Criminal Damage to Property; Domestic Abuse Battery; Theft of a Motor Vehicle; Aggravated Flight from an Officer; Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property; and multiple traffic offenses.
Wilson, who has ties to the Coushatta area in Red River Parish. is a prior felon and considered dangerous. He has been entered in the National Crime Information Center as a Wanted Person.
