A pilot crash landed at the Shreveport Downtown Airport around 8 a.m. Thursday.
According to the Shreveport Fire Department, around 7:30 a.m. the pilot took a Piper Cherokee 140 plane on a maintenance flight. Around 8 a.m., the plane crash landed just before the start of the runway.
No injuries are reported.
The plane lost it’s landing gear and was badly damaged, but did not catch on fire.
