Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Investigators have charged a man with the late July beating of another.

On July 28, 2018, Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to reports of a battery that occurred near Wallace Avenue and Fuller Street in west Shreveport. The victim, 63-year-old John Stokes, reported that he and 61-year-old Judge Wilson of the 500 block of Fuller Street were engaged in a verbal argument and he turned around to walk away.
