Shreveport police are investigating two shootings happening early Monday morning.

The first happened around 1:00 AM in the Southern Hills neighborhood. The victim tells officers he was sitting at a red light on the 2500 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop when someone in a black Chrysler pulled up beside him and then started shooting at him. He was right in front of Willis Knighton South, so he was able to drive himself to the emergency room. His injuries are non life-threatening.

The second shooting happened just after 3:00 AM on the 500 block of Fuller Street. Police say the victim was shot in the buttocks while walking toward his front door. He was taken to University Health with non life-threatening injuries.

Police have not made arrests for either of these shootings, and no suspects have been made. Contact Caddo Crimestoppers at 318-673-7373 if you have any information.
