SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport police say they have not been able to trace the source of a 911 call that led them to a standoff that lasted more than two hours last week.
Police say they have not found a way to contact the number that made the 911 call into the Shreveport Police Department just before 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
That initial came from a woman reporting that she had been assaulted by a man who was armed with an assault rifle. After surrounding the home and attempting negotiations, police determined that there was no man inside the home and no hostage situation.
No arrests have been made in the investigation.
