A proposal to raise Arkansas’ minimum wage to $11 by 2021 will appear on the November ballot.

The Arkansas Secretary of State’s Office said those pushing for the increase turned in enough signatures to qualify for the ballot.

The minimum wage proposal will be listed on the ballot as Issue Five.

If approved by voters, Arkansas’ minimum wage would increase to $11 by January 1, 2021.
