TEXARKANA, Ark. (KTAL/KMSS) – The weather is forcing an annual outdoor event in Texarkana indoors.

RailFest will now be held inside at the Four States Fairgrounds Saturday. This is the eighth year for the event and even though this time it will be a little further from the railroad tracks, organizers said the free family-friendly event will still honor the town’s heritage.

“There’s so many good things about Texarkana that we then can share by inviting people to come out and see what Texarkana has to offer,” said Andi Darby, Townsquare Media.

Vendors and games will be available for free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Music by the Dusty Rose Band and Parker McCollum will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets for the concert will be available at the venue.
