Dozens gather to honor peace officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Law enforcement agencies and residents recognize the sacrifices made by officers locally and nationally.
Five local fallen officers receive a special tribute. Officers place flowers near each monument.
“It’s a great honor to the loved ones and families that are still here in Cass County to honor the people that have gone before us in the line of duty,” said Cass County Sheriff Larry Rowe.
The is the Fifth Annual Cass County Peace Officer Memorial.
