Rescue Mission volunteers help prepare Thanksgiving feast for 1,300

The Rescue Mission of Shreveport-Bossier is preparing to feed around 1,300 people on Thursday for Thanksgiving.

They also plan on delivering meals to the elderly and disabled and serving the homeless at their location on McNeil Street.

Early Thursday morning, volunteers filled their dining hall and kitchen to help prepare turkeys and all of the fixings.
