A Texarkana non-profit has received a huge donation from an anonymous donor. The eighty-nine thousand dollar gift is earmarked for solar panels to operate the Runnin WJ Ranch.
The facility enables disabled children to receive horse therapy. Executive director Sam Clem said the challenge now is to raise money for the installation costs, which is about a hundred thousand dollars. Clem said, “Our task, our prayer, is that we can find the money to install them and I’m asking every electrician I know, every equipment person, if they have a lift, volunteers.”
The ranch hopes to have the solar panels in place by May, 2018.
